Q1. What is a reset time?
Every auction has a "reset time" for example 20 seconds. The reset time can be found in the Fast Facts box on every auction page. every bid placed with 20 seconds or less in the auction, will reset the counter back to 20 seconds.
Q2. How long does an auction last?
The auction duration is determined by the bidders and when there are not more bids, then the auction is over. SHOWDOWN AUCTIONS end exactly when the timer runs out.(COMING SOON)
Q3. How long do I have to decide which item I want?
You have seven days after the auction ends to decide which item you want until the opportunity is lost.
Bidding
Q1. How much does it cost to bid?
Dealbid.org charges between 50-80 cents per bid depending on the size of the bid package purchased. The lager the bid package, the better the deal.
Q1. How does the bid butler work?
You enter a range of which you want the Bid Butler to automatically bid for you. The low end of the range must be at least one penny above the current price. You can enter a maximum of 50 bids over a $1 range.
Q3. Do you have win limits?
Yes, there is a limit of 5 wins per week and 15 win per month. The limits are floating meaning in any 7 or 30 day period. Also, if you are the current winner in an auction, it will count towards your win limit because you could potentially win that auction.
Q4. How do I remove or delete a Bid Butler?
You click on the my Bid Butler tab on the right hand side of the screen once logged into your account.
Q5. Why did my bid not register?
We're very sorry if your bid wasn't registered by our servers in time. To be absolutely certain that you avoid the problem of "Internet lag times" don't leave your bidding until the last second, or use the BidButler to place your bids.
Buy It Now
Q1. How does Buy It Now work?
For each bid you place, you can get 40 cents credited towards your purchase. This can go up to 50% of the total purchase price of the item. So, the larger bid packages that are purchased the higher percentage you make back. The bid packages range from 80 cents per bid in the smallest one to 50 cents per bid in the largest one. So if you bought the largest bid package you are able to get 40 cents out of the 50 you spent back.
Q2. How long do I have to Buy It Now?
You can "Buy It Now" at any point during the auction and up to 24 hours after the auction end.
Q3. What auctions have But It Now?
Only some of the auctions have Buy It Now. Click on the more information tab to see if a particular auction offers it.
My Account
Q1. How many accounts can I have?
You may only have 1 account per household. If a user violates this, Dealbid reserves the right to withhold deliveries, and close or suspend all associated accounts without a refund of any remaining bids. This can also lead to a possible permanent ban of the site. We monitory for fraud daily.
